A pleasent surprise came from Capcom today with their announcement of Lost Planet 3. The Lost Planet series was created by Kenji Oguro, and never really reached the same popularity as Capcom's other franchises, such as Devil May Cry or Street Fighter. However, Lost Planet 1 and 2 were very solid games; the former was an early next-gen title that really showed off the power hardware. Lost Planet 2 came out years later, and focused on large scale coop battles and multiplayer. This time, the game is a prequel to the first one, and it brings back the original game's barren, arctic environments. In addition, Capcom has said that the series' mechs are returning, and that your character will be able to enter and leave his mech at anytime throughout most of the game. With an emphasis on story for singleplayer and a full multiplayer suite, it seems like Capcom is trying their best to make the biggest, most complete Lost Planet game. Lost Planet 3 is being directed by Kenji Oguro, and devloped at Spark Unlimited, a western studio. The game will be released in 2013 for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
Earlier this week, Capcom announced that they are developing a new sequel to the ever popular Ace Attorney series. There are little to no details on this game, so stick around until we learn more info. It can be safely assumed, however, that this game will be released for the 3DS, as all of the Ace Attorney games have been developed for Nintendo handhelds. The other big announcement is that Capcom is developing HD versions of the first three Ace Attorney games for iOS and Android devices. Finally, Capcom shows Android some love!
I can say that once these games are released, you'd be doing yourself a great service if you get them. The Ace Attorney games have some great stories and charming characters, and you're missing out on a lot if you haven't played them yet.
Resident Evil 6 (or Biohazard 6) has been announced after a long time of speculation! It's coming out for PS3 and 360 on November 20th, 2012, and for PC at a later time. A new trailer has been revealed, revealing that the main characters are Leon Kennedy (the main character from RE4) and Chris Redfield (the main character from RE5) are both starring in this new game. Leon will be stationed in the USA, and Chris in China, working together to control a new outbreak. Check out the trailer after the jump.
Welcome to the first of our many New York Comic Con game previews. This year's con was packed with high profile developers showing off their most anticipated games. One of the most popular booths belonged to Capcom, who brought a playable build of Street Fighter X Tekken, the first game in a two-part crossover series between Capcom and Namco.
Capcom had released a cinematic trailer for Street Fighter X Tekken during their panel at San Diego Comic Con. From the looks of it, there will be some very interesting new characters to choose from.
The new character announcements are sure to please many fans of both the Street Figther and Tekken universes. It shows off Dhalsim, Street Fighter's firebreathing Indian man, and Poison, who is a character from Final Fight that's infamous for being transgender. On the Tekken side, Steve Fox, the boxer, and Yoshimitsu, one of Namco's most famous characters who appears in both Tekken and Soul Calibur, have been revealed. All of these characters seem to fit in just right with the style of the game, and the inclusion of Poison is quite a surprise, since she (or he?) hasn't been included in many recent games. With such a good roster already, I can't wait to see who makes it into the final version.
Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 is a game that has been awaited for nearly 10 years now. Its predecessor, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, has a large tournament scene, and has immortalized the subgenre of crossover fighters forever. But does the long awaited sequel hold up to the legend? This is my review of Marvel Vs. Capcom 3.
The first thing people will notice when they start playing Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 is the smaller roster of characters. Marvel 2 had 56 characters, and Marvel 3 features only 36. However, I am not disappointed by this decision. While I do miss a few of my favorites from 1 and 2, such as Mega Man, Captain Commando, Cyclops and Strider Hiryu, many of the characters in 2 were throwaways. In this game, I feel like all of the characters have value to them. They all have their own play style and, despite some of them being obscure like Dormammu or M.O.D.O.K, they are interesting fighters nonetheless. Each one also has their own arcade mode ending, unlockable icons/titles, and they have voiced responses based on whom they're fighting.
Yesterday at 7PM, the game I've been waiting for had finally arrived at my door. The special edition of Marvel VS. Capcom 3. And soon after opening the Amazon package, I grabbed my (crappy) camera and decided to film myself unboxing it! Please excuse the messy room, and the blurry moments.
The special edition comes in a special cardboard sleeve, and the actual casing is metallic. It comes with a full color comic book, a DLC code for characters that will be released on March 15th, and a one month free trial to Marvel's digital comic service. Not too shabby for $10 dollars more. I hope you enjoyed the footage, and I'll have a review up sometime this week!

As you may have already heard, Capcom and Level-5 are working together to bring a crossover that no one expected, yet everyone is now clamoring for. The US version of the game will be released on-

I know what you're thinking, "Mr Pie! This is insane! I want this game! No, I NEED this game!"
Don't worry, there's hope! Check out this link right here. Capcom said that if you comment on that article, they may bring the game outside of Japan! The more comments, the better! Register, comment, share! Spread the word and tell everyone you know! The fate of this game rests in your own fingers.
Bring the spiky haired blue-suited man and the top hat-wearing gentleman over here!

It's been nearly 2 days since the last day of the convention. It was a tiring adventure, but many great things were seen! One of them was Capcom's massive booth, right in the middle of the main show floor. At first sight, Capcom's booth seemed like a tower emerging from a sea of people. Massive lines surrounded the Marvel vs. Capcom 3 preview stations, disorganized as ever. However, everyone got a chance to play the game, and we even got some new announcements.

Capcom has announced Arthur from the excruciatingly hard classic Ghost 'n Goblins, and Nathan "RAD" Spencer from the 2009 reboot of Bionic Commando. They have also leaked a screenshot of Magneto from X-Men and MODOK, a reoccurring villain in the Marvel universe.
