Another entry in the growing list of Light Novel to Anime to Game conversions, Bakemonogatari will hop on the bandwagon of PSP games as confirmed by Dengeki Playstation. Very popular for its witty banter and dynamic characters, such as vampires, snails, crabs, snakes, and such, Bakemonogatari PSP will be published by Namco Bandai and will feature 3D character models and scenes from the Bakemonogatari anime (not Nisemonogatari of this season, mind you), along with some form of two player support. Character voice roles are highly likely to be retained from the anime for the game.
Slated to be released on August 23rd by Namco Bandai, one can expect another milking of a popular franchise... probably in a visual novel format with unique gimmicks.

It has been confirmed that Kizumonogatari, the light novel prequel to Bakemonogatari, will be getting an anime adaptation as well. Kizumonogatari covers the the highly referenced incident in which Araragi becomes a vampire at the hands of a not-so-loli Shinobu. That makes it a definite must-see for fans of the series.
