Level 5's Ceo Akihiro Hino announced that there will be a new Professor Layton game for the Nintnedo 3DS, during today's Nintendo Direct Livestream. The game will be titled Professor Layton: Choubunmei to A no Issan (Professor Layton: and the Remains of an Advanced Civilization). While this news is sure to make the fans happy, his second announcement might just take the wind out of their sails. This will be the Professor's last adventure. It seems like such a waste to bring such a great series to an end, but perhaps the series will live on using other characters. In any event fans can expect to see the game hit Japanese stores sometime in 2013.
