Name's Sayuri, pretty quiet in real life. I do get a bit wild/crazy/random at times. Learning to take it easy and get off bad things.
Activities: I workout, draw whenever, play lots of video games, read manga, watch anime. Standard stuff. Planning to learn the guitar and Japanese, along with programming languages like HTML.
Anime/Manga Interests: Starting with a run down on anime and manga interests. I have a strong liking for the Yuri genre, but I like all sorts of genres.
Couple of my favorites anime series would be: Spice and Wolf I/II, Strike Witches, Needless, Rainbow ~Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin, Bakemonogatari, Durarara!!, Angel Beats!, Gunslinger Girl Season 1, A Certain Magical Index, A Certain Scientific Railgun, Demon King Daimou, Baka to Test to Shokanju, Sora no Woto, K-ON!/!!, Kampfer, Higurashi no naku koro ni, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Bokurano, Mahou Sensei Negima! (Negima!), Valkyria Chronicles, Macross Frontier, Midori Days and Highschool of the Dead (manga).
Planning to watch Strawberry Panic, Kurokami, Yutori-chan, Kaichou wa Maid-sama!, The Girl who Leapt Through Space, Dai Mahou Touge, and Hidamari Sketch. (Cue Renai Circulation lyrics. "fuwa fuwari fuwa fuwaru")
Anyways, update here. I read a bunch of random manga in my spare time like Sekirei, Happy Negative Marriage, Onihime VS, Otaku no Musume-san and some others. Also like DAT Kurokami. At first I thought it wasn't really too interesting and the protag was pretty derp but, it gets better. Just had to use my damn head.
Video Game Interests: First off, Touhou. Amazing series created by the Touhou master, ZUN. Guilty Gear and BlazBlue Calamity Trigger/Continuum Shift. Guilty Gear and BlazBlue have great soundtracks, game play is great along with a interesting cast of fighters and a good story. Metal Gear series, always had a love for Kojima and his epic series, despite MGO being terrible (although not Kojima's fault). Been a fan of the Kingdom Under Fire series (the strategy action one, not the RPG terri-bad circle of doom or whatever), story's pretty cool, nice gameplay, rockin' metal soundtrack. Good ol' CS 1.6 also has a place in my heart, old school stuff. Like the Valkyria Chronicle series too, finished the PS3 game and loved it. Waiting on the PSP version to come out in ENG. Also like Final Fantasy, despite the series going somewhat downhill (in my opinion, don't rape me SE fans). Advanced Wars is another series I like, played it way back then when I was kid on the GBA, then the DS games. Quite fun. Recently spiked interest in the Arcana Heart series, the fighting and characters look really robust and interesting, can't wait to get my hands on it. I play Melty Blood too, along with some visual novels (Fate/Stay Night preeety much). I used to play MMOs, but there's not really anything good on the market right now, so I'm just waiting for some good ones. I also like a bit of RTS, aka Starcraft. Haven't gotten the second one yet, too poor, and it's a really time consuming game to be good at (also no one to play with rofl).
Update: Yume Miru Kusuri = S-tier visual novel.
Music Interests: I listen to a really wide range of genres. I generally listen to a lot of Japanese stuff, (Weeaboo? No. I do not go super kawaii desu) but I still listen to English stuff. Instrumental, orchestral, jazz, rock, metal, pop, and even rap (Eminem basically), pretty much anything that sounds good to me. Couple artists I like are: Eminem, UVERworld, ELISA, Home Made Kazoku, coldrain, milktub, Daisuke Ishiwatari, Supercell, and a bunch of Touhou doujin circles/artists like Sekkenya, Liz Triangle, Swing Holic, Silver Forest, and COOL & CREATE (just to name a few). I also like those singers from NND, like Choucho, donishima, Ritsuka, halyosy, and 癒月 (Yuzuki).
Idols and Goals: Well, I don't really idolize my family members and parents, but I do have a great respect for them and what they are doing/done for me. (I guess I kind of do eh?) My greatest idol is actually Danny Choo, he's a great inspiration to me. I absolutely love what he does, along with his personality and ideology. I find it amazing how he has his own company and that he's doing what he loves. He's wrote articles that have gave inspiration and ideas to to find my own goals in life (along with putting a smile on my face!).
On to goals, I've currently still very sketchy on what I want to do. But so far I'm thinking of going into web development or programming. (With animation as a thought if things go change) I'm also going to get a bachelor's in Japanese. Really do like the history, culture and language. Planning on to learn Chinese too, don't know if I'll learn both Mandarin and Cantonese, but I'd like to learn both. Don't really know what to do with my job future so far, but working with the pop culture of Japan like Danny Choo would be my general direction.
