This season's intriguing horror / mystery anime, Another will be receiving an OVA which is being listed as episode 0. Last week the series' website hinted that a new character would be introduced. The OVA announcement has revealed that this new character is Misaki Mei's nearly identical-looking cousin, Misaki Fujioka. The OVA plans to explain the history between the two cousins. There are no further details on the OVA available at this time.

It has been nearly 4 years since Code Geass: R2 ended and it's been 3 years since we heard the announcement that Code Geass was going to have a new series coming out. The title is going to be called "Code Geass Gaiden: Bōkoku no Akito" also known as "Code Geass: Akito the Exiled". We haven't heard news about it for a while, and I don't know about you but I need my Pizza Hut. Ever wonder what ever happened to that new series? Well we have good news for you.

A very popular J-RPG series in Japan called The Legend of the Heroes has gotten an anime adaptation, commemorating the 30^th anniversary of the company behind it all, Nihon Falcom. The OVA will be based on the first game of the Tales in the Sky trilogy and features 40 minutes of footage. It is stated to be released in DVD & Blu-ray formats on November 25, 2011.

As the title suggests, Rurouni Kenshin, a very popular and great old-school anime, is receiving a two-episode OVA with the first episode being shown at theaters in December. Titled 新京都編 / "Shin Kyoto Hen", or New Kyoto Chapter, it will be a remake of the Kyoto Arc with the battle against Shishio, although this time the story will be told from Misao's point of view.

For those who are unfamiliar with Rurouni Kenshin, the story takes place during the Meiji era and it revolves around Himura Kenshin, a rurouni (wanderer) carrying dark secrets in his past. He meets and teams up with various other people during his travels, each with their own issues, and faces the past that he once tried to escape from.

Sega has recently announced a two part original video animation (OVA) for the latest upcoming game in the Valkyria Chronicles series, “Valkyria Chronicles III: Unrecorded Chronicles”. A-1 Pictures will be working on production of the OVAs under the direction of Kondou Nobuhiro and screenplay by Ohnogi Hiroshi. Character design will be done by Tadano Kazuko, who happens to be the person behind the Sailor Moon series’ character design.

A point of interest is that, Sakimoto Hitoshi will be working on the music for the OVAs. Sakimoto-san is the composer for the Valkyria Chronicles series and has worked with other composers on a few Final Fantasy soundtracks as well.

The OVA’s official site has comments from director Kondou, stating the OVA will not just be about the main character Kurt Irving and the other members of “Nameless Brigade”. It will also feature a strong presence of the firearms and armored vehicles featured in the Valkyria Chronicles universe. The OVA will be released in the spring of 2011 and will also be for download in the (Japanese) PlayStation store.

Please note that there are graphic scenes of sexual intercourse with the two girls in the OVA. Apologies if you are offended by this. This review will be SFW and contain little or no spoilers.

Through starting the OVA, it may just seem like your stock hardcore ero, with no plot at all. Thankfully, this isn’t the case here as there is a flashback which makes sense of how things came to be and what not. Now this is an erotic OVA, so the plot is relatively simple, but it is full of sweet and pleasant scenes due to the characters and their great voice acting. The story flows well with its compassion between Reo and Mai as it will keep the attention of the viewer.
