According to the upcoming 31st issue of Shonen Sunday, the third anime adaptation of Hata Kenjiro's Hayate no Gotoku will air this fall. The comedic anime series which is an adaptation of the manga of the same name already has 2 anime seasons, an OVA, a movie and a live-action Taiwanese drama adaptation.
UPDATE: The new Hayate anime will be produced by Manglobe with Hata Kenjiro on board as a staff member. The series is being produced with feedback from the film in mind.
CORRECTION: We formerly reported the upcoming Hayate anime to be a 3rd season. It is in fact a completely new adaptation of the series and not a third season.
